Statement of Purpose:

Opera Louisiane has been formed to bring a professional opera company to the community of Baton Rouge that will offer operatic performances of the highest musical quality to the general public, present fully staged opera prodctaions to school children, initiate collaborations with other community arts organizations, serve as a model of operational efficiency and fiscal responsibility, and employ qualified Louisiana singers, musicians, and business professionals.
