Students of Magnolia Trace Elementary School of Mandeville, Louisiana were the recipient’s of this year’s 6th Annual Fluttering Across the Curriculum Contest.
In partnership with the Louisiana Governor’s Mansion Foundation, Louisiana Butterfly Hospitality, Louisiana Garden Club Federation, Inc. and the National Garden Club, Inc. the students were invited to the Governor’s Mansion to plant the Mansion’s butterfly garden.
The event was held on May 20, 2008 at 10 AM at the Mansion. First Lady Supriya Jindal took time out of her busy schedule to plant with the children.
