The YWCA Greater Baton Rouge hosted its inaugural You Win! Community Affair Nov. 8 in the Manship Theatre at the Shaw Center for the Arts.  The evening's main event was a take on the popular NBC game show "Deal or No Deal."  WVLA news anchor Stone Grissom assumed Howie Mandel's role while game show proxy Christel Slaughter helped make the best deals for four lucky guests.  The grand prize of a 42-inch plasma TV went to Dr. Mark Acierno.

Before making deals, the crowd of some 250 shopped a silent auction, danced to the jazzy sould sounds of N2N and partook of hors d'oeuvres and beverages.
