On Sunday July 26, 2009 guests gathered at the Mall of Louisiana to kickoff the three week campaign Casas for CASA which serves to generate public awareness, funding and support for CASA's efforts on behalf of abused and neglected children. Guests were invited to enjoy a silent auction, live music by the Carbon Copy Band and food by Serrano's Salsa Company.
The CASA playhouse will be on display through August 16 and raffle tickets will be sold with proceeds benefiting Captial Area CASA. To purchase raffle tickets for $5 each, please contact the CASA office at 225-379-8598 or visit the Mall of Louisiana.
